To request our free evaluation version, please read carefully:

1. Read and Accept the Terms and Conditions below.

2. You Must also supply the following information with your request:

   A full and complete business address.
    (couriers cannot deliver to P.O. Box addresses)

   A telephone number corresponding to the site of delivery.
    (only required by couriers in case they need to contact you for delivery)

Include your company website address, if available, or briefly describe how you believe our «SyMetric» system   will assist your organization.  We will not respond to private individuals without clear and verifiable company   affiliations.

We will Not send our «SyMetric» Evaluation Version software CD unless you confirm in your e-mail to us that:      1) You have read and agree to comply to all stated Terms and Conditions below.      2) Provide the deivery and supporting information as requested above.

The «SyMetric» Evaluation CD will be sent to you by pre-paid courier delivery and will include:

 A complete evaluation CD-ROM of the «SyMetric» software for a test study project,

All Core «SyMetric» program modules and simple installation instructions, full documentation, printed output    examples, etc.
   On the CD, we will include the «SyMetric» software with full documentation, construct a database    application,enter test data, and will include examples of reports generated by the «SyMetric» system, including    a full Data Dictionary listing, data validation reports, and export data listing examples.
              

Send us by fax, or by e-mail, 2-3 pages of sample CRF pages (either blank or already completed  forms).


                                    OR  

If you do not have your own CRF pages to send, we will send you a "generic" application based on a few simple    typical CRF pages of our design to highlight various features of the «SyMetric» system.
 
We should be able to ship to you the SyMetric Evaluation CD within a week of your request (if we have problems    meeting this deadline, we will notify you).

Note: On occasion, evaluation requests may be lost for processing.  We are sorry for any inconvenience in this regard but if your request is legitimate and we have not responded by e-mail or sent the evaluation CD within a reasonable time, please do not hesitate to forward your request again and indicate that you have not received any notification.

All Terms and Conditions herein shall be legally binding in full to the requesting party, and that this party / contact person requesting this offer, on behalf of the assumed organization, is authorized to accept all legal implications of the terms and conditions below.

Conditions and Restrictions

The software supplied with this evaluation version will Not allow you to create new project database applications.  We have constructed a project application for you.  All key data management modules are included for your assessment based on this test project.

Note: The web-based Mesh sub-system cannot be tested with this evaluation because of additional setup              software requirements.
Note: New Project Applications based on your CRFs cannot be built using the evaluation version.

The Evaluation version will include the full system documentation for all software modules.

Please note that this offer can only be extended to clients who:

1. Have read the information contained in our «SyMetric» Product overview,
2. Have downloaded our "Guided Tour" program, and have fully evaluated the information provided in this "Guided Tour" presentation,
3. Understand that this offer to construct a test application for your organization and to deliver an evaluation software CD to you represents a substantial measure of goodwill and, therefore, will only be made available to clients that we assess may be in the best position to use our software in proper context and are seriously considering licensing our software.
   Given the expenditures involved in time and money associated with this offer, we must reserve the right to require additional information or to deny your request (with explanation).
   For example, your organization must be a legitimate and verifiable corporate entity with business interests in developing clinical data management services for clinical trials.
4. Agree to these Terms and Conditions (Note: your request for a test application constitutes agreement).

After your assessment, if you choose not to license our product, we would greatly appreciate your feedback of the software and a brief evaluation, particularly aimed at what expectations were not met by your requirements. We sincerely appreciate all your comments following your assessment to improve the product!

Legal terms

SyMetric Sciences retains all rights over the copyrights of the «SyMetric» software and all documentation provided. This offer is not a license, sale, or gift. The software provided AS IS and strictly for evaluation purposes. The software cannot be used beyond a reasonable period of time (maximum 6 months). Under no circumstances shall the software be decompiled or reverse engineered in any way or form, by function or appearance, or by any other device or assessment to gain knowledge of the encapsulated or implicit software design and/or its implementation. SyMetric Sciences shall pursue all legal remedies under International Treaties to protect its copyright ownership and rights to the software as registered under 477192 with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office.

Any duplication in any form of the CD-ROM is strictly prohibited, and for temporary installation as implicit in this offer. Transfer of the software in any form to any other party is strictly forbidden. All parties in possession of this software must comply with the terms and conditions herein. SyMetric Sciences reserves the right to request the return of the CD-ROM, as delivered, from the requesting parties; so that, in effect, the CD-ROM and the files contained therein, including any copies -- in part or in whole and in any form whatsoever -- thereof, are to be considered a temporary loan, redeemable, or to be destroyed by the requesting party via an acceptable promissory statement and on demand by SyMetric Sciences.

This is a goodwill offer to be used at your own risk: In no event shall SyMetric Sciences be liable for any claim for damages (consequential or not) arising under this offer or from the requesting party's use (or abuse) of the software.

Following the evaluation period of the software, all traces of the software must be removed from all computers and the CD-ROM be destroyed or returned in its original state to SyMetric Sciences, on demand and upon our instructions. These procedures may incur costs to the requesting party that are not, in any event or circumstance, refundable.
